2021 festival programme announced

Despite ongoing restrictions, we are thrilled to announce that we hope to run a festival in 2021 – albeit shorter than usual. We’re planning to run a three day event with separate rehearsals for choir and orchestra between Wednesday 2nd and Saturday 5th June (we’re allowing four days to accommodate separate rehearsals).

The programme is as follows:

For the choir:

Beethoven ‘Hallelujah Chorus’ from ‘Christ on the Mount of Olives

Schubert: Mass in G D.147

For the orchestra:

Brahms: Saint Anthony Variations (Variations on a Theme by Haydn)

Mendelssohn: Symphony No.3
