The next programme for Pennine Spring Music

The Pennine Spring Music Festival for 2006 will run from Sunday 28th May to Saturday 3rd June.

Programme as at 7 April 2005

Except where indicated, all events will take place in the evening.

Sunday 28 May	4.30 7.30	Young People's Concert Choral Evensong, followed by informal gathering for all members
Monday 29 May	7.30	An Evening with Opera North Soloists
Tuesday 30 May	7.30	Pennine Spring Orchestra and Chorus Baroque Evening, to include Double Violin Concerto (Bach) Zadok the Priest (Handel)
Wednesday 31st May	7.30	Ethnic Diversity Evening Indian, Jewish and East European performers
Thursday 1st June	7.30	Fusion Evening of drama, poetry and music by 'Baroque Encounter'
Friday 2nd June	7.30	Pennine Spring Orchestra and Chorus An evening of English music, including: Clarinet Concerto (Stanford) The Lark Ascending (R V Williams) On Hearing The First Cuckoo in Spring (Delius) Folk Songs and music by Coates and Elgar
Saturday 3rd June	1.00 - 2.00 7.30	Lunchtime Recital Panayiotis Demopolous (piano) and Tui Clark (clarinet) Pennine Spring Orchestra and Chorus Rachmaninov: Second Symphony Rachmaninov: Vespers

Please note that black tie dress code is required for all gentlemen Members, and all black for the lady Members when performing.
